Did the design run?
- Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
- No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
- Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
- No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
- Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
- No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
- Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
- Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
- No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
- Every state change was reviewed: heldgated-execute.reviewedEvery call that changed the world had been allowed by a review before it ran, counted from the world’s own journal.
- Every decision was read: heldgated-execute.decisionsEvery review that ran to its end gave its decision through the schema; an unreadable one is a denial.
- Each call was shown the right tools: heldgated-execute.toolsThe executor was shown the task’s full toolset and each reviewer the read-only tools.

Final answer
I worked through all 16 open returns. I settled and closed 12, opened an investigation on 1, and left 3 open because their goods haven't all arrived. The tools report today as 2026-07-25 (my session date says 2026-10-06), so I measured return windows and policy-update dates against 2026-07-25.
Settled and closed (12). Each was refunded, put back in stock by the warehouse's grade, then closed:
| Return | Refund | Back into stock | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| RMA-801 | 10,965 to card | 1 P-KEY, sellable | Changed mind, 15% fee |
| RMA-802 | 15,900 to card | 1 P-HDP, sellable | Changed mind; no fee (PU-21: requests 07-10 to 07-20) |
| RMA-803 | 27,965 store credit | 1 P-MON, sellable | 41 days after shipping, outside the 30-day window. The customer only became gold on 07-15, after asking on 07-08, so the longer gold window (PU-18) doesn't apply. 15% fee |
| RMA-804 | 27,965 store credit | 1 P-MON, sellable | 41 days, standard customer, outside the window. 15% fee |
| RMA-805 | 5,520 to card | 1 P-HUB, sellable | Requested 06-25, so the 20% peak-season fee applies (PU-15) |
| RMA-806 | 7,350 to card | 2 P-MOU, damaged | Defective, no fee. 7,350 is what was actually paid after the discount code |
| RMA-810 | 9,900 to card | 1 P-KEY, damaged | Defective. 12,900 paid minus 3,000 already refunded |
| RMA-811 | 4,900 to card | 1 P-MOU, sellable | Damaged in transit, no fee |
| RMA-812 | 21,900 to card | 1 P-DOC, damaged | Defective, requested on day 28 (inside the window) |
| RMA-813 | 10,965 to card | 1 P-KEY, sellable | Requested on exactly day 30, which is still inside the window. 15% fee |
| RMA-814 | 31,800 to card | 2 P-HDP, sellable | Changed mind, no fee (PU-21) |
| RMA-815 | 10,965 to card | 1 P-KEY, sellable | 38 days, but the customer is platinum, so the 45-day window applies (PU-18). 15% fee |
For RMA-803 and RMA-804, the refund is recorded on the order and the same 27,965 was added to each customer's store-credit balance.
Not closed:
- RMA-808: the return is for a monitor (P-MON), but the warehouse received a cable (P-CAB). I opened an investigation (INV-1) and refunded and restocked nothing.
- RMA-809: 2 of 3 cables have arrived. I refunded those 2 (3,800 to card, no fee under PU-21) and restocked 1 as sellable and 1 as damaged. It stays open until the third cable arrives.
- RMA-807 and RMA-816: nothing has been received, so nothing was done. The RMA-807 customer says tracking shows delivery on 07-23 and asks for a refund today. There is no warehouse receipt, so under the rules no refund can be issued yet.
