Did the design run?
- Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
- No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
- Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
- No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
- Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
- No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
- Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
- Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
- No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
- The task was decomposed: heldorchestrator-workers.decompositionThe orchestrator’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one subtask.
- The fan-out happened: heldorchestrator-workers.fan-outEvery subtask got a worker, every worker ran, and the recorded subagent count matches.
- The synthesis wrote the answer: heldorchestrator-workers.synthesisThe final answer came from the synthesis call, not from a worker’s report standing in for it.
- Each call was shown the right tools: heldorchestrator-workers.toolsThe orchestrator and the synthesis were shown no tools and every worker the task’s full toolset.

The call-by-call replay is not published for this run. Traces are large, so the repository keeps 9 of this run set’s 900 and leaves the rest out; the score, phases and final answer on this page come from the committed run record.

Final answer
R3311 is cancelled, but Marcus is getting $248 in travel credit, not a refund to his card. There is also an unresolved date conflict that could change whether even the credit was correct.
What was done
- R3311 was cancelled and the seat on flight AA660 was released. This was Marcus Bell's basic economy booking, SFO to Boston, departing 2026-08-05, paid $248.00.
- One ledger entry (L1) closed it out: $248.00 issued as travel credit.
Why not a card refund
- Basic economy fares are not refundable on their own.
- His trip insurance only pays back to the card if he cancels at least 14 days before departure. If he cancels later than that, the insurance converts the fare to travel credit instead.
- The refund policy gave today as 2026-07-28. That is 8 days before the flight, so it falls in the travel-credit case.
- He booked on 2026-04-11, so the 24-hour full refund window does not apply.
- He is a platinum member, so the $50 cancellation service fee was waived and he keeps the full $248.
Message for Marcus: He asked for $248 on his card today, and the rules don't allow that. He gets the full $248 as travel credit because his insurance only refunds to the card when you cancel at least 14 days before the flight. No fee was taken off because he is platinum.
Unresolved: which date is "today"
The system dates disagree. The refund policy says 2026-07-28, but the system notes and my own context say 2026-10-05. The worker used 2026-07-28 because AA660 still shows as scheduled. It reasoned that travel credit is right either way.
That reasoning doesn't fully hold. If today really is 2026-10-05, the flight left two months ago. Cancelling it afterwards may count as a no-show, and the policy may then require a non-refundable record rather than travel credit. The report doesn't show that this case was checked against the policy. Someone should confirm the correct current date before telling Marcus the credit is final. If the later date is right, entry L1 may need review.
