Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The task was decomposed: heldorchestrator-workers.decompositionThe orchestrator’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one subtask.
  • The fan-out happened: heldorchestrator-workers.fan-outEvery subtask got a worker, every worker ran, and the recorded subagent count matches.
  • The synthesis wrote the answer: heldorchestrator-workers.synthesisThe final answer came from the synthesis call, not from a worker’s report standing in for it.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldorchestrator-workers.toolsThe orchestrator and the synthesis were shown no tools and every worker the task’s full toolset.

Final answer

AA918 re-protection (SFO→ORD, 2026-08-03): outcome

All 13 reservations on AA918 have been rebooked at no charge. No change fees or fare differences were applied. The passengers were handled in this order: frequent-flyer tier first, then booking date. Jun Takeda and Kofi Mensah are booked to travel together, so they were kept together at Kofi's gold priority. No operational bulletins were in effect, so the standard irregular-operations rules applied. Each passenger was sent one message with their new itinerary.

Cabin upgrades:

  • Iris: economy was full on UA88, and UA88 arrives before any flight still open in economy. She was moved one cabin up on that flight.
  • Lea: premium economy was full on UA88 and AA204. AA204 arrives before DL512, the earliest flight with premium economy still open, so she was moved to AA204 business.
  • No one else changed cabin, and Jun and Kofi were not upgraded.

Boston connections: Dev and Mo could no longer make their original onward flight, AA1402. They were rebooked on AA1410 the next morning, which counts as a valid connection. Their AA1402 seats were released.

Money: Ten vouchers were issued (V1–V10): six compensation vouchers and four hotel vouchers. No refunds or charges were made.

Points to check:

  • System date: the airline system reported its date as 2026-08-02, which differs from today's date here (2026-10-05). The worker treated the airline system's date as authoritative, so these flights were still in the future and the rebookings are valid. If the real date is 2026-10-05, these flights have already happened and the rebookings need review.
  • Partner flights: UA88 and DL512 are partner flights. They were listed as bookable and were used, but it has not been confirmed whether partner flights need separate handling.
  • Search scope: only direct SFO→ORD and ORD→BOS flights were searched. Routings through other cities were not checked, so an earlier connecting itinerary for some passengers can't be ruled out. This would mainly affect the later and next-day rebookings, and with them the compensation amounts.
  • Upgrade condition: the report doesn't explicitly confirm that Iris and Lea are each travelling alone on a single flight, which the upgrade exception requires. Their placements assume that holds.
  • Verification: this summary is based only on the worker's report. I have not independently checked the bookings or the ledger.
