Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The task was decomposed: heldorchestrator-workers.decompositionThe orchestrator’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one subtask.
  • The fan-out happened: heldorchestrator-workers.fan-outEvery subtask got a worker, every worker ran, and the recorded subagent count matches.
  • The synthesis wrote the answer: heldorchestrator-workers.synthesisThe final answer came from the synthesis call, not from a worker’s report standing in for it.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldorchestrator-workers.toolsThe orchestrator and the synthesis were shown no tools and every worker the task’s full toolset.

Final answer

The open RMAs are mostly worked through, but two things are unresolved. The customer who wrote about RMA-807 got no reply, which the handbook requires. And the count of closed RMAs in the worker's report doesn't match its own table.

Closed: refunded, restocked by warehouse grade

RMARefundBasisRestocked
801$109.65 card15% change-of-mind fee; requested 07-08, before PU-21 removed the feeP-KEY ×1 sellable
802$159.00 cardNo fee under PU-21P-HDP ×1 sellable
803$279.65 store credit15% fee; requested 41 days after shipping. Customer became gold on 07-15, after the request, so PU-18's 45-day window doesn't applyP-MON ×1 sellable
804$279.65 store credit15% fee; 41 days, standard tierP-MON ×1 sellable
805$55.20 card20% fee under PU-15 (requested 06-25)P-HUB ×1 sellable
806$73.50 cardDefective, no fee; amount actually paid after the MOUSE25 discountP-MOU ×2 damaged
810$99.00 cardDefective; $129.00 paid less $30.00 already refundedP-KEY ×1 damaged
811$49.00 cardDamaged in transit, no feeP-MOU ×1 sellable
812$219.00 cardDefective, 28 days after shippingP-DOC ×1 damaged
813$109.65 card15% fee; requested on day 30, still inside the windowP-KEY ×1 sellable
814$318.00 cardNo fee under PU-21; both units receivedP-HDP ×2 sellable
815$109.65 card15% fee (requested 07-09, before PU-21); 38 days, inside the 45-day platinum windowP-KEY ×1 sellable

For RMA-803 and RMA-804, the store credit was recorded against the order and also added to each customer's balance. C-803 now has $279.65 and C-804 has $291.65.

Not closed

  • RMA-809 (open): 2 of the 3 cables have arrived. $38.00 was refunded to card with no fee under PU-21. One unit went back as sellable and one as damaged. The third unit still needs settling when it arrives.
  • RMA-808 (investigation INV-1 opened): the return covers a monitor (P-MON), but the warehouse received a cable (P-CAB). Nothing was refunded or restocked.
  • RMA-807 (open): nothing has been received. The customer says tracking showed delivery on 07-23 and wants a refund now. Under the rules nothing is refunded until the warehouse logs the parcel. It may be worth asking the warehouse whether it has arrived.
  • RMA-816 (open): nothing has been received yet.

Gaps and inconsistencies in the report

  1. No reply on RMA-807: the worker sent no customer emails, saying the returns rules don't call for them. But the handbook says every message worked must get a reply (reply_to_message). The RMA-807 customer still needs one explaining that no refund can be issued until the warehouse receives the parcel. The report also doesn't say whether that message came from the email address on the account.
  2. Count mismatch: the report says 13 RMAs were settled and closed, but its table lists 12. With RMA-809, 808, 807 and 816, that accounts for all 16. So 12 closed appears correct, but the report contradicts itself.
  3. Date mismatch: the tools gave today's date as 2026-07-25, while the environment says 2026-10-12. The worker says this changed no outcome because every rule depends on request and ship dates. I can't check that independently.
