Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute-verify.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Every verdict was read: heldplan-execute-verify.verdictsEvery review round ended with a verdict read from the schema reply, not a default.
  • The loop did what its verdicts said: heldplan-execute-verify.loopEvery verdict that called for a revision got one, and nothing was revised without such a verdict.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute-verify.toolsThe planner was shown no tools, the verifier the read-only ones, and the executor and reviser the full toolset.

Final answer

The verifier was right. My earlier summary said I'd worked all 8 open cancellation requests, but there were 10. I missed Q-410 and Q-412, and both are now done.

Before acting, I checked each booking's refund policy, the passenger's tier and tier history, the card status and the ledger. Neither booking had any earlier ledger entries, and there are no operational bulletins.

RequestBookingOutcomeWhy
Q-410R7111 (Wren Ashby, economy, $300, SFO to JFK on 18 Aug)Cancelled; $300.00 back to the Amex ending 6402Economy is refundable to the card. She is a platinum member (her tier has never changed), so she pays no $50 cancellation fee. Her card is active.
Q-412R7112 (Zoe Clark, economy, $290, SFO to LAX on 24 Aug)Cancelled; $240.00 back to the Visa ending 3358Economy is refundable to the card. She is a silver member, so the $50 fee applies ($290 − $50). Her card is active.

Both requests are resolved with a note telling the customer what they're getting and why.

Corrected overall summary: I've worked all 10 open cancellation requests: Q-401 to Q-406, Q-408, Q-409, Q-410 and Q-412. Each booking is cancelled, settled with one refund or non-refundable record, and its request resolved. The other 8 outcomes are as in my earlier report and I didn't change them. Q-407 is a flight change request, not a cancellation, so I left it open for the team that owns it. As before, I applied the rules as of 2026-07-28, the system date the refund policy tool reports, rather than 2026-10-05.
