Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute-verify.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Every verdict was read: heldplan-execute-verify.verdictsEvery review round ended with a verdict read from the schema reply, not a default.
  • The loop did what its verdicts said: heldplan-execute-verify.loopEvery verdict that called for a revision got one, and nothing was revised without such a verdict.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute-verify.toolsThe planner was shown no tools, the verifier the read-only ones, and the executor and reviser the full toolset.

Final answer

I've cancelled R3311 and issued the $248.00 as travel credit. It could not go back to Marcus's card, so his request was only partly met.

What I found

  • R3311 belongs to Marcus Bell: a basic economy booking on AA660 from SFO to BOS on 2026-08-05, $248.00 paid, made on 2026-04-11. The record confirms he bought trip insurance.
  • The flight still shows as scheduled, so nothing has been flown.
  • Basic economy is non-refundable by itself. The insurance only pays back to the card if he cancels at least 14 days before departure. Closer than that, it turns the fare into travel credit and no money goes to the card.
  • He's a platinum member, so the $50 cancellation fee doesn't apply.

What I did

  1. Cancelled R3311.
  2. Recorded one ledger entry: a $248.00 refund as travel credit. I re-checked afterwards: the reservation shows cancelled and its ledger has only that one entry. No other bookings or records were changed.

Message for Marcus
"Your reservation R3311 is cancelled. Your trip insurance is on file, but it only refunds to your card if you cancel at least 14 days before departure. Your flight leaves on August 5, which is 8 days from today, so the insurance turns the fare into travel credit instead. You get the full $248.00 as travel credit, with no cancellation fee because you're a platinum member. We can't put the money back on your card."

Date mismatch: The refund policy tool gives today's date as 2026-07-28, and the flight still shows as scheduled, which fits that date. The date I was given in my setup is 2026-10-05, which would mean the flight had already left. I used the airline system's date. If 2026-10-05 is right, the cancellation would come after departure, outside the insurance window, and the policy would probably not give him a card refund. That means Marcus would not have been owed more than the travel credit under either date.
