Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute-verify.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Every verdict was read: heldplan-execute-verify.verdictsEvery review round ended with a verdict read from the schema reply, not a default.
  • The loop did what its verdicts said: heldplan-execute-verify.loopEvery verdict that called for a revision got one, and nothing was revised without such a verdict.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute-verify.toolsThe planner was shown no tools, the verifier the read-only ones, and the executor and reviser the full toolset.

Final answer

All 13 reservations on AA918 have been moved to new flights and AA918 now has no bookings left. Nobody was charged a change fee or fare difference: no money moved on any rebooking and the ledgers I checked have no entries. Ten vouchers were issued, and each passenger got one message with their new flights and what they're owed.

There were no operational bulletins, so the standard rules applied. I checked tier history for the six platinum and gold passengers and none had changed. The only open replacement flights were the SFO–ORD and ORD–BOS flights listed below. Searches for nonstop SFO–BOS flights and for connections through DEN, JFK and LAX found no flights.

Original scheduled arrival was 13:40 on 3 Aug at ORD, or 18:55 on 3 Aug at BOS for the two passengers connecting to Boston. Passengers are listed in priority order:

How the harder cases were decided:

  • Iris upgrade: UA88 was the earliest flight but its Economy was full. As a platinum member travelling alone on a single flight, she was moved up one cabin on it.
  • Lea upgrade: Premium Economy was full on both UA88 and AA204, and the next Premium Economy seat (DL512) would only reach Chicago at 18:40. As a gold member travelling alone, she was moved up one cabin to AA204 Business.
  • Ben, no upgrade: Iris and Chloe had already taken the cabin above Economy on UA88, and AA204 had no Premium Economy seats. That left DL512 Economy.
  • Dev and Mo: The new first flight broke their 15:30 connection to Boston, so I rebooked that flight too. Every Economy seat to Chicago before AA210 had gone to higher-priority passengers. AA210 lands at 23:50 and the next-morning flight to Boston counts as a valid connection.
  • Jun and Kofi: They are booked to travel together, so they were kept together in their own cabin, ranked at Kofi's gold priority, with no upgrade.

The task didn't involve any customer requests in the queue, so I didn't change or resolve any.
