Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute-verify.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Every verdict was read: heldplan-execute-verify.verdictsEvery review round ended with a verdict read from the schema reply, not a default.
  • The loop did what its verdicts said: heldplan-execute-verify.loopEvery verdict that called for a revision got one, and nothing was revised without such a verdict.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute-verify.toolsThe planner was shown no tools, the verifier the read-only ones, and the executor and reviser the full toolset.

Final answer

I rebooked all 13 passengers from the cancelled AA918 (SFO to ORD, 3 Aug 2026, 07:30, due in 13:40), issued the vouchers they're owed and messaged each of them once with their new itinerary. Nobody paid a change fee or fare difference, nobody was put in a lower cabin, and the two-person travel group stayed together.

I checked a few things first. The airline did cancel AA918. No operational bulletins are in effect, so the standard handbook rules applied. There were no open queue requests for these passengers, so there was nothing to resolve. Seats were given out in priority order: platinum first, then gold, silver and no tier, with earlier bookings first within each tier. The group counted as gold because one member is gold.

All flights are on 3 Aug unless the table says otherwise.

  • Cabin moves: Iris and Lea are the only passengers moved up a cabin, because the rules allow it only in their situation. Both are gold or platinum, travelling alone on a single flight. In each case their own cabin was full on a flight arriving sooner than any flight still open in that cabin, and the cabin above had a seat. Ben (gold) could not be moved up: by his turn, premium economy was full on both earlier flights (UA88 and AA204).
  • Boston connections: Dev and Mo were connecting to AA1402 at 15:30, and no economy seat reached Chicago in time for it. I rebooked that leg as well. AA210 plus the next-morning AA1410 gets them to Boston soonest.
  • Grace's voucher: her delay qualifies for $300, but a voucher can't exceed the fare paid, so it is capped at $240.
  • Hotel vouchers: Dev, Mo, Grace and Ana each got $180 because they arrive a day later than planned.

I issued 10 vouchers in total (V1–V10). I re-read the rebooked bookings and checked the flights afterwards, and the remaining seat counts match these assignments.
