Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute-verify.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Every verdict was read: heldplan-execute-verify.verdictsEvery review round ended with a verdict read from the schema reply, not a default.
  • The loop did what its verdicts said: heldplan-execute-verify.loopEvery verdict that called for a revision got one, and nothing was revised without such a verdict.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute-verify.toolsThe planner was shown no tools, the verifier the read-only ones, and the executor and reviser the full toolset.

Final answer

I worked all nine open flight-change requests from yesterday. Each customer is on the flight they asked for, in the cabin they booked, and every request is resolved with a note explaining the charges.

One correction to the plan: the system's date is 2026-07-28, not 2026-10-06, so "yesterday" was 2026-07-27. All nine requests are from that date. I left Q-306 alone because it's a cancellation, not a flight change.

No airline cancellations were involved, so the normal fare rules applied unless a bulletin in effect today covered the change. No money went back to anyone, so I didn't need to check payment cards. Each fee was posted as its own ledger entry (L1–L10):

RequestChangeChargedWhy
Q-301 R5201AA210 → DL542 on 08-06, economy$0The Chicago weather waiver (PB-2026-14) covers it, so the fee and fare difference are waived.
Q-302 R5202AA660 → AA664 on 08-07, economy$75 change fee + $35 fare differenceThe weather waiver only covers Chicago, and this is a Boston trip.
Q-303 R5203AA662 → AA664 on 08-07, basic economy$150 change fee + $25 fare differenceThe waiver the customer cited (PB-2026-09) ended on 07-15 and only covered travel through 07-20. The $150 basic economy fee comes from PB-2026-16, and silver members aren't exempt.
Q-304 R5204UA88 → UA90 on 08-09, basic economy$35 fare differenceThe waiver drops the change fee, but on basic economy it still collects the fare difference.
Q-305 R5205AA214 → AA216 on 08-08, economy$75 change fee + $10 fare differenceBooked on 07-26, after the waiver's 07-24 cutoff.
Q-307 R5207AA212 → AA218 on 08-08, economy$0PB-2026-14A extends the waiver to 08-05 travel for gold and platinum members, and he's platinum. He offered to pay, but nothing was owed.
Q-308 R5208AA660 → AA662, same day (08-05), economy$75 change feeSame-day change bulletin (PB-2026-12): a flat fee and no fare difference.
Q-309 R5209Second flight only: AA1402 → AA1406 on 08-03, economy$0The trip passes through Chicago on 08-03, so the weather waiver applies, and that's cheaper than the same-day fee (PB-2026-17). His first flight stays the same, and he has 7.5 hours to connect.
Q-310 R5210AA210 → AA216 on 08-08, economy$75 change fee + $30 fare differenceHe already used his one free waiver move on 07-26.

Two judgement calls you may want to check:

  • Charging customers who expected a free change: in Q-302, Q-303, Q-305 and Q-310 the customer expected no charge. Because the task was to make each change, I went ahead, charged under the normal rules and explained why in each note. None of them had said they'd pay.
  • Q-309: I treated a trip that only connects through Chicago as "travel to or from ORD" under the waiver. If that reading is too broad, the same-day fee of $75 would apply instead.
