Did the design run?
- Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
- No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
- Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
- No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
- Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
- No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
- Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
- Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
- No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
- The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
- Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute.toolsThe planner was shown no tools and the executor the task’s full toolset.

Final answer
I cancelled R3311 and returned the full $248.00 to Marcus as travel credit, not to his card. The refund policy doesn't allow a card refund for this booking.
What I checked first
- Reservation: R3311 belongs to Marcus Bell (P-1003). It was a basic economy booking on AA660 from SFO to BOS on 2026-08-05, with $248.00 paid. It was booked on 2026-04-11 and was still confirmed. The ledger had no entries.
- Insurance: the record confirms he bought trip insurance.
- Membership tier: he's a platinum member.
- Flight: AA660 is still scheduled and hasn't flown.
The date doesn't match the plan. The plan said today is 2026-10-05, which would mean the flight had already gone. But the refund policy tool gives today as 2026-07-28, and the flight still shows as scheduled. So the flight is 8 days away and there's no no-show. I settled the booking using the airline system's date.
How the policy applies
- The booking is more than 24 hours old, so the 24-hour full refund doesn't apply.
- A basic economy fare isn't refundable on its own.
- Trip insurance only pays back to the card if you cancel at least 14 days before departure. At 8 days, it turns the fare paid into travel credit instead, and no money goes back to the card.
- There's normally a $50 cancellation fee, but platinum members don't pay it. So he gets the full $248.00.
What I did
- Cancelled R3311, which released his seat.
- Closed it out with one ledger entry (L1): $248.00 as travel credit.
- Read the booking and ledger again: R3311 shows as cancelled and L1 is recorded. I didn't change any other booking, passenger record or flight.
Message to Marcus:
"Your reservation R3311 (SFO→Boston, Aug 5) is cancelled. You're getting the full $248.00 as travel credit, not back on your card. Basic economy fares can't be refunded on their own. Your trip insurance pays back to your card only if you cancel at least 14 days before departure, and this cancellation came 8 days before. Inside that window, the insurance turns your fare into travel credit instead. Because you're a platinum member, the usual $50 cancellation fee doesn't apply, so you keep the full $248 as credit."
