Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute.toolsThe planner was shown no tools and the executor the task’s full toolset.

Final answer

All 16 open returns are worked: 12 are refunded, restocked and closed, one is under investigation, one is partly settled and still open, and two are left alone because nothing has arrived. Every refund and stock change returned a success result, and I re-listed the returns afterwards to confirm their statuses. The tools report today as 2026-07-25, which doesn't match the 2026-10-05 in my environment; I used the tools' date for every window check.

Rules applied

  • The return window is 30 days from the ship date. A return requested after that is paid in store credit instead of to the card.
  • Change-of-mind returns carry a 15% restocking fee. Defective returns and goods damaged in transit carry no fee.
  • Three policy updates, each applied only when the return was requested inside its dates:

    • PU-15: the fee is 20% for requests from 05-01 to 06-30.
    • PU-18: gold and platinum customers get a 45-day window, based on their tier on the day they asked.
    • PU-21: no fee for requests from 07-10 to 07-20.

Refunded, restocked and closed

ReturnRefundRestockedWhy
RMA-801$109.65 to card1 keyboard, sellable15% fee; asked 07-08, before PU-21 started
RMA-802$159.00 to card1 headphones, sellableno fee (PU-21)
RMA-803$279.65 store credit, added to balance1 monitor, sellableasked 41 days after shipping; the customer only became gold on 07-15, a week after asking, so the standard 30-day window applies; 15% fee
RMA-804$279.65 store credit, added to balance (balance now $291.65)1 monitor, sellablestandard tier, 41 days, so store credit; 15% fee
RMA-805$55.20 to card1 hub, sellable20% fee (PU-15, asked 06-25)
RMA-806$73.50 to card2 mice, damaged stockdefective, no fee; this is the discounted price actually paid
RMA-810$99.00 to card1 keyboard, damaged stock$129.00 paid, less the $30.00 already refunded on that line
RMA-811$49.00 to card1 mouse, sellabledamaged in transit, no fee
RMA-812$219.00 to card1 dock, damaged stockdefective; asked on day 28, inside the window
RMA-813$109.65 to card1 keyboard, sellableasked on exactly day 30, which is still inside the window; 15% fee
RMA-814$318.00 to card2 headphones, sellableboth units arrived; no fee (PU-21)
RMA-815$109.65 to card1 keyboard, sellableplatinum, so the 45-day window applies (asked on day 38); 15% fee

Not closed

  • RMA-808: under investigation (INV-1). The return covers a monitor, but the warehouse received a cable. Nothing was refunded or restocked.
  • RMA-809: still open. Two of the three cables have arrived. I refunded $38.00 to card for those two (no fee, PU-21) and restocked one as sellable and one as damaged. The third cable has not arrived.
  • RMA-807 and RMA-816: open and untouched. The warehouse has received nothing for either. The RMA-807 customer says tracking shows the parcel was delivered on the 23rd, but there is no warehouse receipt, so under the rules nothing is refunded yet.

RMA-795 was already under investigation before I started and wasn't part of this batch, so I left it as it was.
