Did the design run?
- Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
- No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
- Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
- No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
- Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
- No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
- Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
- Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
- No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
- The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
- Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute.toolsThe planner was shown no tools and the executor the task’s full toolset.
Phases

Final answer
I've worked through all 16 open returns. 12 are refunded, restocked and closed. RMA-809 is partly settled and still open. RMA-807 and RMA-816 have nothing to settle yet. RMA-808 is now under investigation because the wrong item came back.
Rules I applied:
- Return window: 30 days, counted from the date the line shipped to the date the return was requested. A request made later than that is paid as store credit.
- Restocking fee: change-of-mind returns pay 15%. Defective items and items damaged in transit pay nothing.
Policy updates: I applied each one only to returns requested within its dates.
- PU-15 (20% fee): covers requests from 1 May to 30 June 2026.
- PU-18 (45-day window for gold and platinum customers): covers requests from 1 June 2026, if the customer held that tier on the day they asked.
- PU-21 (no fee): covers requests from 10 to 20 July 2026.
- Dates: the store system's "today" is 2026-07-25, not today's date of 2026-10-12. I used 2026-07-25 for all date checks.
| RMA | Refund | Method | Restock | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 801 | 10,965 (15% fee) | card | 1 sellable | closed |
| 802 | 15,900 (no fee, PU-21) | card | 1 sellable | closed |
| 803 | 27,965 (15% fee) | store credit, added to C-803's balance | 1 sellable | closed — requested 41 days after shipping. The customer became gold on 15 July, after the 8 July request, so the longer window doesn't apply |
| 804 | 27,965 (15% fee) | store credit, added to C-804's balance | 1 sellable | closed — 41 days, standard-tier customer |
| 805 | 5,520 (20% fee, PU-15) | card | 1 sellable | closed |
| 806 | 7,350 (the discounted amount actually paid, no fee) | card | 2 damaged | closed |
| 807 | — | — | — | open: nothing received yet, although the customer says tracking shows it delivered |
| 808 | — | — | — | investigation INV-1: a cable (P-CAB) arrived instead of the monitor (P-MON) |
| 809 | 3,800 for 2 of 3 units (no fee, PU-21) | card | 1 sellable, 1 damaged | open: 1 unit still on its way |
| 810 | 9,900 (12,900 paid, less 3,000 already refunded in RF-2) | card | 1 damaged | closed |
| 811 | 4,900 (no fee) | card | 1 sellable | closed |
| 812 | 21,900 (no fee) | card | 1 damaged | closed |
| 813 | 10,965 (15% fee; requested exactly 30 days after shipping, so still inside the window) | card | 1 sellable | closed |
| 814 | 31,800 for both units (no fee, PU-21) | card | 2 sellable | closed |
| 815 | 10,965 (15% fee) | card | 1 sellable | closed — platinum customer, so the 45-day window applies; requested after 38 days |
| 816 | — | — | — | open: nothing received yet |
Amounts are in cents. I checked the stock history first: none of these returned items had been restocked before, so nothing was put back twice. I didn't change any other orders, products or customers.
