Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • The plan was a plan: heldplan-execute.planThe planner’s reply was read through its schema and held at least one step.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldplan-execute.toolsThe planner was shown no tools and the executor the task’s full toolset.

Final answer

I triaged all 16 tickets in the new queue, and it's now empty. That's the 14 that were there at the start plus T-2015 and T-2016, which arrived while I was working. One correction to the plan: the desk clock reads Monday 2026-03-23 08:10 UTC, not 2026-10-13. The desk opens at 09:00, so business-hours deadlines start counting then. Wednesday 25 March is a company holiday and is skipped.

Closed as not service requests

  • T-2010: marketing email (a SyncFlow promotion).
  • T-2014: automatic out-of-office reply.

Duplicates merged (no deadlines had been set on either group, so each survivor got triage time plus its target)

  • T-2005 into T-2004: both are the CRM search failure (knowledge base article KB-23 says all failing-search reports are one problem). T-2004 is sev2 at department scope, due 12:10Z, assigned to E-201.
  • T-2012 into T-2003: both are Payments builds failing since Saturday. T-2003 is sev2 at department scope, due 12:10Z, assigned to E-101.

Other tickets (the assignee is whoever is on call for the owning rotation when the deadline falls)

Rule-driven decisions

  • T-2006 is sev2, not sev3: knowledge base article KB-55 changes payroll single-user tickets to sev2 during the March payroll close (20–31 March).
  • T-2007 is a security incident: it came in on the VPN service, but it's a phishing report with exposed credentials, so it's sev2 and owned by security on-call.
  • Leave cover: E-301 is on leave today, so network-secondary's on-call E-303 covers T-2001 and T-2013. E-202 is on leave on 26 March, so business-apps-secondary's on-call E-203 covers T-2002. I left a comment on each of these tickets explaining why.
  • T-2001 and T-2013 stay separate: they're different offices with different symptoms (connections dropping versus no connection at all).
  • No major incident: nothing had company-wide impact, so I didn't run the runbook or page anyone.

Where I didn't follow the plan: I assigned tickets but did not escalate them. The plan says to escalate whenever the matrix names an escalation rotation. But escalating makes that engineer the assignee, and the handbook says a ticket must never go to someone outside the rotation that owns its service. Escalating every sev2 to platform-primary, or T-2015 to incident-command, would break that rule.
