Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • All three proposers ran: heldpropose-select.proposalsThree proposers ran in parallel, each from its own angle, and none was starved while another ran.
  • The selector chose: heldpropose-select.selectionThe selector picked a proposal by a valid number, read from its schema reply and not a default.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldpropose-select.toolsEach proposer was shown the read-only tools, the selector none, and the executor the full toolset.

Final answer

Priya's order O-3001 is fully refunded: 68,600¢ in total, which is everything she paid. Only 13,800¢ went back to her card. The other 54,800¢ became store credit, because the rules don't allow a card refund for those two items.

What I did

  1. USB-C Hub ×2 (L3), cancelled and refunded to her card: this line never shipped, so it counts as a cancellation, not a return. I refunded the 13,800¢ she paid for it to her card. The cancellation didn't show it as backordered, so I put the 2 hubs back in stock right away (P-HUB went from 8 to 10).
  2. Laptop Dock (L1) and Monitor (L2), returned for store credit: both shipped on 2026-05-04, more than 30 days ago, so the return window has closed. After that, refunds can only be paid as store credit. I recorded a 54,800¢ store-credit refund on the order (21,900¢ + 32,900¢). Recording it there doesn't change her balance, so I also added 54,800¢ to her account separately. Her store credit went from 500¢ to 55,300¢.

End state

  • O-3001 is marked returned, with 68,600¢ of 68,600¢ refunded.
  • The shipping address is unchanged.

Not done, per policy

  • No card refund for the dock and monitor: her request to get her money back was met in value, but as store credit rather than to her card.
  • No restock of the dock and monitor yet: the warehouse hasn't received them back. They go back into stock (P-DOC at 3, P-MON at 5) when the parcels arrive.

I didn't touch any other order, customer or product.

What to tell Priya: £138.00 is going back to her card for the hubs, which never shipped. The other £548.00 is store credit, because the dock and monitor shipped more than 30 days ago.
