Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • All three proposers ran: heldpropose-select.proposalsThree proposers ran in parallel, each from its own angle, and none was starved while another ran.
  • The selector chose: heldpropose-select.selectionThe selector picked a proposal by a valid number, read from its schema reply and not a default.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldpropose-select.toolsEach proposer was shown the read-only tools, the selector none, and the executor the full toolset.

Final answer

I've worked through all 16 open returns. 12 are refunded, restocked and closed, RMA-809 got a partial refund and stays open, RMA-808 is under investigation, and RMA-807 and RMA-816 stay open because nothing has arrived. Before changing anything I re-checked the plan against the live data: the return policy, the three policy updates, every warehouse receipt, all the orders and the customers' loyalty tiers. Everything matched, so I didn't need to change any amounts.

RMARefund (cents)RestockStatus

80215900 card (no fee, PU-21)+1 headphones, sellableclosed

8055520 card (20% fee, PU-15)+1 USB hub, sellableclosed
8067350 card (defective; the amount actually paid after the discount)+2 mice, damagedclosed
807none, nothing receivednoneopen
808none, a cable arrived instead of the monitornoneinvestigating (INV-1)
8093800 card (2 of 3 cables, no fee)+1 cable sellable, +1 cable damagedopen, 1 unit still to come
8109900 card (12900 paid less the 3000 already refunded)+1 keyboard, damagedclosed
8114900 card (damaged in transit)+1 mouse, sellableclosed
81221900 card (defective)+1 dock, damagedclosed
81310965 card (exactly 30 days, still inside the window; 15% fee)+1 keyboard, sellableclosed
81431800 card (no fee, PU-21)+2 headphones, sellableclosed
81510965 card (platinum, so the 45-day window applies; 15% fee)+1 keyboard, sellableclosed
816none, nothing receivednoneopen

Cases that are easy to get wrong:

  • RMA-803: this customer is gold now but only became gold on 07-15, after the 07-08 request. The 45-day window didn't apply, so the refund went to store credit rather than the card.
  • RMA-813 and RMA-815: the requests fall just outside the dates of the no-fee summer offer (PU-21), so the 15% fee applies to both.

Things I left alone:

  • The other lines on orders O-8006, O-8009 and O-8010, which weren't part of these returns.
  • Warehouse receipts for RMA-790 and RMA-795, which aren't open returns.

The inbox has no open messages, so there were no customer replies to send. The system reports today as 2026-07-25, which differs from the 2026-10-06 in my environment. This doesn't change any result, because the return window runs from the shipping date to the date the return was requested.
