Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • All three proposers ran: heldpropose-select.proposalsThree proposers ran in parallel, each from its own angle, and none was starved while another ran.
  • The selector chose: heldpropose-select.selectionThe selector picked a proposal by a valid number, read from its schema reply and not a default.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldpropose-select.toolsEach proposer was shown the read-only tools, the selector none, and the executor the full toolset.

Final answer

I've carried out the plan with no changes. I checked its assumptions against the live records first (return policy, the three policy updates, warehouse receipts, order amounts and ship dates, customer tiers, stock movements and the inbox), and they all matched. Of the 16 open returns, 12 are refunded, restocked and closed, one is partly settled and still open, one is under investigation, and two are left open.

Refunded, restocked and closed (12):

  • Store credit (803 and 804): these were asked for more than 30 days after shipping. Each refund is recorded on its order and the same 27965 was added to the customer's balance. C-803 now has 27965 and C-804 has 29165.
  • RMA-806: the refund is the 7350 actually paid after the MOUSE25 discount, not the list price.
  • RMA-810: the refund is the 12900 paid minus the 3000 already refunded to the card. The customer says a colleague already put "something on account", but C-810 has no store credit history, so nothing else was deducted.
  • RMA-813: it was requested exactly 30 days after shipping, which is still inside the window, so it went back to the card.
  • RMA-815: the customer is platinum, which gives a 45-day window, so the 38-day request went back to the card.

The other four:

  • RMA-809 (partly settled, still open): 2 of the 3 cables have arrived. I refunded 3800 to the card, with no restocking fee under the summer offer (policy update PU-21). One cable went to sellable stock and one to the damaged bucket. The return stays open for the third cable.
  • RMA-808 (investigation opened): the return is for a monitor but the warehouse received a cable. Nothing was refunded or restocked.
  • RMA-807 (left open, no refund): the customer says tracking shows it delivered on 07-23, but the warehouse has no record of receiving it, and only received goods can be refunded.
  • RMA-816 (left open): nothing has been received.

The inbox had no open messages, so there were no replies to send. No other orders, lines, customers or products were touched.

The system dates everything as 2026-07-25, not today's date of 2026-10-12. That doesn't change any result, because return windows are measured from the ship date to the date the return was requested.
