Did the design run?

every check held
  • Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
  • No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
  • Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
  • No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
  • Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
  • No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
  • Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
  • Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
  • No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
  • Each call was shown the right tools: heldsingle.toolsThe agent was shown exactly the task’s tools, none missing and none extra.

Final answer

I cancelled R3311 and returned the full $248.00 as travel credit. It could not go back to Marcus's card: the airline's rules don't allow it for this booking, so I didn't do that part of his request.

Why not his card:

  • Fare: Basic economy fares are non-refundable on their own.
  • Insurance: His trip insurance can override that and refund the card, but only if he cancels at least 14 days before departure. The refund policy gives today's date as 2026-07-28, and his SFO→BOS flight AA660 leaves on 2026-08-05, which is 8 days away. Inside 14 days, the insurance turns the fare into travel credit and nothing goes back to the card.
  • Booking date: He booked on 2026-04-11, so the 24-hour full-refund rule doesn't apply.

Why he gets the full $248: The usual $50 cancellation service fee is waived because Marcus is a platinum member. Nothing had been paid back on this booking before, and none of the trip had been flown.

What I did:

  1. Cancelled R3311, which released the seat.
  2. Recorded a single $248.00 travel-credit refund on the ledger as entry L1. That closes the booking out financially.

Note on dates: My environment shows today as 2026-10-05, but the airline's refund policy shows 2026-07-28. I went by the policy's date, and the flight is still listed as scheduled. If 2026-10-05 were the real date, the flight would already have left and this cancellation wouldn't make sense. You may want to check which date is correct.

Message for Marcus: His insurance still protected the full $248, but because he cancelled less than 14 days before the flight, it comes back as travel credit rather than a card refund.
