Did the design run?
- Run completed: heldharness.run-completedThe environment was built, the architecture returned and grading finished, none of them throwing.
- No API failures: heldharness.apiNo model call failed at the API.
- Every call ended: heldharness.calls-endedEvery call ended with a result, or was stopped by the run's own limits.
- No harness tool denied: heldharness.harness-toolsThe sandbox guard never denied a harness tool, nor a tool the session itself offered.
- Tool servers connected: heldharness.mcp-connectedEvery tool server the harness gave a call was connected when the session started.
- No foreign tool servers: heldharness.mcp-hermeticNo call loaded a tool server the harness did not give it.
- Builtin tools: heldharness.builtin-toolsA check recorded with the run.
- Structured replies arrived: heldharness.structured-outputEvery call that asked for structured output and ran to the end got it.
- No silent fallbacks: heldharness.not-degradedNo phase fell back on a default (an empty plan, a default winner) instead of its output.
- Each call was shown the right tools: heldsingle.toolsThe agent was shown exactly the task’s tools, none missing and none extra.

Final answer
I worked through all 16 open returns. Twelve are refunded, restocked and closed, one is partly refunded and stays open, one is under investigation, and two are still waiting for their parcels.
Dates: the store system gives today's date as 2026-07-25, not the 2026-10-12 I was given. I used the system's dates, since they match the receipts and return requests. Return windows run from each line's ship date to the date the return was requested.
Policy updates I applied:
- PU-15: changes the fee to 20% for change-of-mind returns requested from May 1 to June 30.
- PU-21: drops the fee for change-of-mind returns requested from July 10 to July 20.
- PU-18: gives a 45-day return window to customers who were gold or platinum on the day they requested the return.
Refunded, restocked and closed (12):
| Return | Refund | Why | Back into stock |
|---|---|---|---|
| RMA-801 | $109.65 to card | 15% fee | 1 sellable |
| RMA-802 | $159.00 to card | no fee (PU-21) | 1 sellable |
| RMA-803 | $279.65 store credit | Requested 41 days after shipping. She only became gold on July 15, after her July 8 request, so the 30-day window applies. 15% fee. | 1 sellable |
| RMA-804 | $279.65 store credit | 41 days, standard customer, 15% fee | 1 sellable |
| RMA-805 | $55.20 to card | 20% fee (PU-15, requested June 25) | 1 sellable |
| RMA-806 | $73.50 to card | Defective, no fee. The amount is what was actually paid after the MOUSE25 discount. | 2 damaged |
| RMA-810 | $99.00 to card | $129.00 paid less the $30.00 already refunded earlier | 1 damaged |
| RMA-811 | $49.00 to card | damaged in transit, no fee | 1 sellable |
| RMA-812 | $219.00 to card | defective, 28 days after shipping | 1 damaged |
| RMA-813 | $109.65 to card | Requested exactly 30 days after shipping, which is still inside the window. 15% fee. | 1 sellable |
| RMA-814 | $318.00 to card | both units arrived, no fee (PU-21) | 2 sellable |
| RMA-815 | $109.65 to card | 38 days, but he has been platinum since February, so the 45-day window applies. 15% fee. | 1 sellable |
For RMA-803 and RMA-804, the $279.65 was recorded against the order and also added to each customer's store-credit balance.
Not closed:
- RMA-808: the warehouse received a cable instead of the monitor the return covers. I refunded and restocked nothing and opened an investigation (INV-1).
- RMA-809: 2 of the 3 cables have arrived, 1 resellable and 1 damaged. I refunded $38.00 to card for those two (no fee, PU-21) and put one into sellable stock and one into damaged. It stays open for the third cable.
- RMA-807 and RMA-816: nothing has been received yet, so I made no refund and left them open. The RMA-807 customer wrote that tracking shows the parcel was delivered on July 23 and asked to be refunded today. The rules allow refunds only for units the warehouse has logged as received, so I didn't refund.
